A Giant Bit Of Happiness.

Yes, you guessed right, I have managed to secure a Citadel Giant at a total cost of £510.00.

It does not have the somewhat pointless brown cardboard box, but it has all the spare parts and accessories, thus it ticks all my boxes.

This chap will be stripped and repainted and will become the legendary Glune Wayfoot, leader of the infamous assault on the Halfling lands in the notorious 'Glune's Trek' which was eventually stopped by a Halfling, Ent and Eagle alliance under Baragin Hogweed.

This time, I'll not be selling my Giant. I made that mistake once before...

  1. Bloody hell - £510! Mind you, I spent £35 on one of the Elves from GW's original D&D adventurer boxed set after I foolishly gave them away in my early twenties. Look forward to seeing the paint job!

  2. My original one took first place and was numero uno bit of daubing at Salute in the 90s. I missed it, and as they say, you can't take it with you. It will be lovingly stripped and painted before being sealed good and proper with dire anti-lead rot magics.

    1. You may not be able to take it with you, but you could have an army ready to stand guard over you in the after-life. A modern version of the Terracotta Army.

  3. Quite nice, although the thought of paying that much for a single model (or even an army!) gives me heart palpitations. Looking forward to seeing it painted up in its new home.

What are you going to do with the surplus heads?

  4. Well, they fetch £25 each, but frankly these will be sealed and then stored.
