I painted a LOT of 7 Years War for some of the Mosborough And District club in the 90s, but never thought I'd own such a large collection myself, primarly due to the time I'd need to spend painting such a monster..

It was pure good fortune that I got the chance to purchase this one, and I can't tell you how happy I am, that it's come to resid with me. I'll not talk money because I think the collection speaks for itself.

The regiments are large but not unwieldy, but by the gods, there are a lot of them.

Now my plan is to stage a Christmas game, using the two page rules from the Wargames Holiday Centre, with one or two tweaks.

Brian for reasons beyond his control, was unable to deliver the models as we had agreed and planned, and graciously hired a taxi to get them to me. Top bloke - My Christmas game plans can go ahead!

And, that's all I have to report for the present, as we spent 11 hours on Saturday, packing several thousand models to be sent to my clients, so that they have a diversion or two at Christmas, and have not stopped having to do jobs and chores since. So, if you will excuse me, I need to go and locate some small sweetmeats and alcohol - well, I am on holiday after all.
