Fantasy Eye Candy as Op: WS rolls onwards

I've been busy today, cutting out and fixing flags to poles and thence to the units they belong to.

It's all fantasy stuff of course, and the real fun has just been buying not only fantasy themed banners, but mixing up different eras of history get a cracking looking human force which is not for any given 'period' thereby cocking a snook to reality at every opprortunity. It's been great...

I took all of the completed stuff out to the games room today and decided that what I am really in need of, is some more storage space. The 200+ cubic feet under the tables, you say? Nope, it's packed solid with terrain, so the box industry is going to make a massive profit this year ;)

The Good vs Evil project has hit the halfway mark with about 75% of the Good and 25% of the Evil forces completed totalling about 2000 pieces so far. I'm hoping that in the next few weeks, the 'Good' part will be 100 % comple. Here are a few pics, snapped quickly this lunchtime:

As you may imagine, I'm really pleased with how things are going and it's really pleasing to be able to thumb my nose at a couple of negativists who were dancing with joy at the end of 2022 when I announced I was starting over again, pointing out I had a room, a load of terrain and no figures. Well, hey, f-you.

A contact in the U.S kindly supplied me with the excellent 'Evil Lord, On Litter With Bearers' sculpted by Tom Meier and in my opinion a classic and essential centrepiece to my forces of Evil, particularly with a 12 Bugbear escort unit sorrounding it. In the U.S they were Trolls, but over here they were Bugbears.... Either way they will be on 40x40 bases and will look awesome around the 80x80 base with the litter on:

Credit to S.O.L for the pic of the litter.

Well, that's all for now, I'm off to read more of Talking Miniatures...
